Does anyone know how to activate/use the new chaet toggle which has appeared in v1.20?

Also will it show you as being a big fat smelly cheater?

I know it must effect your score or it wouldn't be fair. I just like to win once in a while.

Most games with the cheats enabled will give you an anomalous game. That scores you a big goose egg. I know a lot of people who use the cheats. They just never submit games.

Actually, he probably needs to learn to keep his military line above the AIs through use of Corvettes and Anti-Matter missiles. That will keep the majority of yellow seekers away from him, giving him plenty of choices on how to go about winning.

not necessary...I never ever build anything but colony,freighter,constructor ships.. and win constantly on military victory masso, or any other level of game.. I never fire a shot

To activate cheat mode, go to the options screen and click on the cheat mode tag. This will automatically mark your game as cheated.

You'll need to search the site for the cheat keys. Most are control+...

Diplomacy.. and Showing them a better way to live... LOL
this is the starFleet way... not war.. domination through peace... For those who need the cheat keys here they are

Cheat Keys.

CTRL A adds hit points, move points, attack and defense points
CTRL B battleship
CTRL C clone selected ship
CTRL E decreases morality
CTRL G increases morality
CTRL H heals ship, restores move points
CTRL J make all human colonies complete their social and military projects
CTRL L assign all the worlds and resources to major races
CTRL M money (adds $1000)
CTRL O add anomaly
CTRL P increase the class of the planets in the selected star system
CTRL S research current tech (if shift key is also held, all techs except final frontier are researched)
CTRL T teleport
CTRL U clear FOW
CTRL V create random ship
CTRL Y create colony ship

PS: i've never used them... they are straight out of the history file on SDC for GalCiv

well I find only 1 useful when i don't want to wait for the resource and all the planet to get taking, so to shorting the time of a game in use thw l key.

Gerakken's rules of Yor: Try to flip them first before blowing them to heck. It is easier to reprogram them than to rebuild them. (It is common knowledge that all the Spymaster's assistants are reprogrammed and/or rebuilt Yor.) I do have to admit that incredible difficulty Yor can have quite an attitude. Sometimes I like that anti-matter missile deterrent a bit too much and do get tempted.

Dune -- I read the entire series. Well at least all the books that Frank Herbert wrote himself. His final book "Chaperhouse Dune" was a masterpiece.

It would make a great theme for an empire. Hmmm....

There are more great ideas for empires than there are active players...
The Houses of Dune (3 of them pluss the emperor, the witches, and the mentats) .. thats 6 just there

then ther's babyloins 5, (at least 5 races here)

Andromida(the migog,numan,and at least 2 more that i can't remember the names of the races),

StarGate SG1

Theres so many more that I can't possibly mention them..
