Two questions, need answers Frogboy

1.) How do you get the MP3 player to work? I put several MP3 in the Playlist directory but nothing shows up on the Load Playlist screen.

2.) I have a Colony Ship which is showing up on the ship list however when I double click on its name, it just takes me to a planet. It shows the ships name in the ship info box and shows it fully loaded but I can't actually see it, or move it, or even disband it.

Otherwise this is one of the greatest games I have played in a long time. I had an important paper to get done, however the "one more turn" syndrome kicked in and 4 hours later I had to throw myself away from the desk. Good job!

You're trying too hard! It's easier than that.

1) Goto options.
2) Choose the use playlist
3) Press playlist button and select directory you want to use, anywhere on your coputer you want, no need to move around your MP3s.
4) Press set.
5) Choose the default play list or one that's already there from say Winamp.

Is the colony ship parked in orbit? (i.e. does it show up in the system's ship list?)

1. You go to winamp (or some other maedia player) create your playlist and save it as *.m3u file which you put in your ..\galciv\playlist folder

2. uhmm.. might be just fog of war .. try ctrl+r and see if it reapears.

Sounds like the colony ship is in orbit to me. Double click on it to launch it.

Make sure that if you create a playlist from winamp that you save it directly into your default playlist directory that you set in galciv so that it'll save enough path information.

No it is not in orbit. I only had two ships in orbit, yet when I clicked on the ships name in the ship window in took me to that planet. Thanks for the MP3 help.
