How to Stop Widgets Minimising with Windows+D

hi there,

I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me how to prevent widgets from minimising when I press the Windows+D shortcut? I use this shortcut all the time, and when I do, the widgets always disappear as if they were programs... I've tried the "desktop mode" or whatever it's called, but that doesn't seem to work... does anyone have any ideas on this?

win+d doesn't minimize - it's more like it puts your desktop on top of everything else
win+m is minimize
