is there a demo of GalCiv?

I want to check if it's playable on my PC.
My Specs:
Intel PIII-450MHz
320Mb RAM
NVidia TNT2 Graphics-card with 32Mb

Please say it IS possible coz i want to buy this awesome game!

Minimum specs are a PIII 600, so I think you're out of luck, but when the demo comes out, you can always try of course.
