2 DA crashes, minor races and pop up minimap

I've had two crashes in DA thus far and figured I'd list them on the off chance they aren't known issues. The first occurs whenever I attempt to negotiate for planets with a minor race (specifically, the Jagged Knife). Clicking on any of thier planets in the diplo list crashes the game.

The second occurred when I tried to zoom on the pop-up minimap.

Top of debug.err follows, I'm happy to provide any other info you may need:

Please install 'SmartException' from the free stuff section in Stardock Central. Make sure that SE is running and start your game as normal. If the game crashes it will generate an exception report that can be emailed to [email protected]. If SE does not automatically pop up and prompt you to send the report when the game crashes, you can find it at C:\Program Files\Stardock\SmartException (it will be the newest file with a .CRA extension).

Please include a description of what you were doing at the time, how to reproduce the crash if possible, and a zipped save if applicable when you send an SE log to gc2bugs.

Thanks kryo, I'll do that. Both of these seem pretty reproducible, fortunately, so hopefully I can help you track them down.

BTW I experienced the minor race crash and I did send in a report from SmartEx. The crash occurs when negotiating for planets, if you list more planets than they would agree to trade for something, once you add that "something". For instance, if they'd sell 5 certain planets for 100,000 in cash and you offer that, you're fine. But if you remove the money and offer 1 instead, or keep the money the same but add more planets so that they would then turn the text red and refuse, this causes a crash. It happened with the Jagged Knife so I don't know if it happens with other minor races. It hapens no matter what your offer is, so long as the offer is not enough to make them agree to trade the planet(s). I cause the crash with low cash offers, a peace treaty offer, etc. It should be noted that in all cases I was also at war with the Jagged Knife, if it matters. I didn't test during peace time.

It actually doesn't happen in peace time, or at all if a peace treaty isn't involved. I logged it with SmartEx and mailed it in, so hopefully it'll get straightened out.

I got a crash also in pretty much the same situation -
1. Put one of their planets on the table
2. Click the money button on my side to decide how much to add
3. Game instantly crashes before the slider bar appears to let me decide how much.

As Kinjiru mentioned, the crash seems to occur the moment it would have changed the negotiation text red.
