Congratulations, It's A Sock!

I just finished knitting my first sock. I'm pretty proud of myself.

I'm going to try and go get my good camera out of the truck later today and get a better pic.

Yeah, I've already started it's mate. I'm doing it on my new Options circular needles using what's called the magic loop method so it should go more quickly than the first.

Looks good!

Thanks.

Doing it on a single circular needle is definitely faster than working it on the four double points. I've already knit about 2 inches of the ribbed top on the second sock and have just been knitting a round or two here and there between doing other stuff. I think I am gonna really like the circulars.

How long have you been doing this again? You must have picked up on it quick.

That's darned impressive...

Man, that's cool, though. That was fast learning.

Excellent job, Mason! Very nice! Now all you have to do is not fall victim to 'Single Sock Syndrome', aka the Knitters Plague. All over the USA there are single socks, waiting and hoping desperately that their makers will see fit to make another sock and they will become the pair that they were destined to be.

It's a sad situation; truly a tragedy.

Thank you.

I am already well under way on it's mate, only using a single circ instead of the DPNs.

And what a commanding riff it was . . . one of those life-changing air guitar solos.

I'm thinking of trying out for the air-guitar-lympics. I could totally win . . .

I ordered an air guitar off eBay a while back and still haven't received the damn thing.
