Problem loading themes..

Have desktopx installed all seems to be working fine..
Downloaded 2 themes from wincustomise .. saved to desktop both these files are .desktop files...
when i wish to load themes in the program they seem to want dxtheme files instead...
what ive i done wrong what program do i need for .desktop files ?

You should be able to just click on the files that are on your desktop and DesktopX should auto-load and run the desktop file.
