Error when trying to register, serial not accepted.

I have english version of Galactic Civilizations ll and it runs smoothly in my dual core machine. I can copy the serial number that I gave when installed, but using this given serial number GC2-***************** (that was copypasted from front page) gives error and your system says the number is not registered. Well, I am trying to register it, in order to be able to download whatever you have...stuff. In the last page of the manual it says: use this serial number to download exclusive collectors edition content from (XP only)

What should I do to be able to download?

There should be a second serial in the package somewhere which is 28 characters long and contains only 0-9 and A-F, with no dashes. That is the serial you need to use to register.

If the Collector's Edition serial is the only one there, you can try exchanging it here (despite what the page says it does cover all known batches that only got CE serials, not just in Europe). Failing that, contact [email protected] for further assistance.

I just bought this game as well. I am using the serial number that came with the game on the jewel case. I have tried with hyphens and without and had my friend type in the codes for me just in case i messed up on one. I would actually like to play this game sometime since i just bought it today. I updated to 1.4 before i even started playing to get the most out of the game.

If it has hyphens at all, it's not the serial you need to use. Check through the packaging for a second one, and if there isn't another one there, use the link in my prior post. If that does not work, contact [email protected].

Thank you for the reply. I recieved an email soon after i posted that said i needed to use a new serial since my old one did not work. I tried it as well and it did not work. I also emailed support soon after.

And the link you posted did not work. It gave me an error that i did not have the right serial. Just a bit of more information i am from the USA.
