WindowBlinds 5 [Beta] OEM is installed Please uninstall from Control panel.

Trying to update Windowblinds 5.49a.021 to 5.49j.034; I receive the error that I must uninstall the beta OEM from add/remove programs. This should not be the case because it does not exist. I'm updating through SDC. What is the recommended course of action?

Try uninstalling the old one first from SDC,then restart computer and then install the new one.

If HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\ObjectDesktop\WindowBlinds is removed via RegEdit.exe, SDC will have no idea there was a previous WB installed. Not sure why it would reference the OEM build if you were using the previous 5.49 beta.

I had same problem when trying to update, went ahead and uninstalled, re-installed through SDC, all ok, had same with Iconpackager too. Jim
