is there a way to have an all ai war and be able to watch it unfold

not that i know of.

im not sure if there is a record game feature. Otherwise you could download peoples recorded games and watch them unfold. Be nice to see some of the elite players at work!

Frogboy does just that (see his latest journals), but I'm not sure if that's possible with cheat codes or if it can only be done in debug mode.

You could use third party software to record a game. I have a couple just haven't tried them out yet, since I'm running low on HD space.
