Artifact bonus display bug?

I've noticed when you build a wonder, like a Manufacturing Capital, on a bonus artifact tile (lets say 100% bonus) the summary screen indicates a +50 mp is given, but that mp isn't actually added to the production of the Planet.

Is this just a display bug, or am I missing something?

Capitals and other 'special' improvements such as trage goods and galactic achievements do not benefit from bonus tiles at all, as they provide local or global percentage bonuses, not flat amounts. Only a regular improvement, like a factory (and its higher-tech equivalents) will benefit from a bonus tile.
