On February 12th Stardock will be releasing the expansion pack to Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords.  The expansion pack, known as "Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar" has a ton of new features.

Troy Goodfellow of Games Radar has taken a look at a recent beta version of the expansion pack.  Check it out!

Since theirs one moth left im going to assume that most of the features(if not all) are already programed. So, I have one question, did the Epic Generator make the cut?

Epic Generator didn't make the cut.  But we still want to try to get it in there in the future. A LOOOOT of work went into it.

Indeed. It would be a shame if it never gets included.

Brad, do you think it will make it into an update, or will it most likely not get added until another expansion pack?

I guess they will add it in the next expansion along with the terror star (I hope).

No no terror star please... maybe some other super weapon but not something that wipes out planets(who would want to do that anyway).

Thanks for telling, i have been wondering for a while. Shame though, wouldve been awesome if it did.

Too bad they didn't spend that time/effort/energy/sweaty-finger-cramping in a MP expansion.

Oh well, hoping DA will be as much of a smash as GC2DL was, hoping its also less buggy on it's release.

Well, I truly hope that the epic generator makes in some form...someday. While I am sure that it is a tough one to program (and to keep a story interesting\new), it would be a shame for a such a great idea and all the work that has been done on it get tossed on a shelf for a couple years or so.
