It would probably help immensely if you updated those 4+ year old video drivers.
Updating the audio drivers would be a good idea as well.
Set the game resolution to your desktop resolution of 1152 x 864 after those things are accomplished.

Then have fun with the game, but do not expect too much in the way of performance or graphics with your current setup. Intel integrated graphics and Celeron processors are pretty weak.

Basicly the problem is everything at the startof the game works well, but the more worlds I add things start to slow down, any way Ill wait and hope you tell me how to create a debug file.

The debug.err file is created whenever you start a game and then removed if you exit the game normally. If the game crashes the file remains. The debug.err file is located in C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2 folder.

Actually it is left there no matter how you quit, crash or no. It is, however, overwritten the next time you start the game.

Hello

I just installed the game and it crashed during the loading of the game after selecting options and race, etc. I will include debug file. TY.

As Moosetek said, you should update your video drivers and if that doesn't resolve the issue, make sure you set the game to the same resolution as your desktop.

ellishnoo,
You should not expect the game to run very fast on your 1.1GHz P3. That is at the very lowest end of the games required hardware spectrum.

And as you get further into the game your memory and cpu usage increase greatly. If you do not have a fast processor and lots of ram the game will get progressively slower. And if your ram/swapfile run out you will probably crash.

Posting your debug.err will show how much ram you have, how much swapfile, type of cup and video, etc. Then more specific suggestions can be made.
