Help! Installing multiplicity knocked out my network

Help! I decided to try Multiplicity because it is exactly what I've been looking for. After installing it, though, I can no longer see any of the machines on my network, either through Multiplicity itself OR through Windows networking. I get "\\computername is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have network permissions."

I don't know much at all about networking so am totally lost about what to do. Uninstalling multiplicity didn't fix things.
