Where are my archives?

When downloading all the programs from Stardock Central, I have the "Create Archives on download" checked (don't remember the exact wording of the check box). Where do the archives go? Is it easy to grab all the program archives and back them up (CD or separate hard drive)?

Thanks,
Jay

The default location is C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\BACKUP. It would be different only if you specifically set a different location for the archives when you installed & set up Stardock Central.

And, yes, piece of cake to back the folder up.

I sort of figured that's where they should be, but all that's there is eula.txt. Is there an easy way (now that I've already downloaded everything) to round up all the downloads for backup?

Thanks,
Jay

The checkbox you refer to is for "Auto-archive on application update". When you update any app, it will first create an archive of the present version. If you want to create archives of your apps right now, you can ..... select an app in the list > right click > Archive Application > and select one of the options.

A useful program is the freeware version of SyncBack http://www.2brightsparks.com/downloads.html  You can point it at the Stardock folder, then at the destination of your choice, and back up all your programs, skins etc on a schedule without lifting a finger.

Good point Fuzzy ........ I tend to forget about SyncBack, while it takes care of me behind the scene.
