Resolution Frequency out of range and I cant change it

I was messing with the game resolution, and it said it had to reboot the game for it to take effect, so I did and now it says frequency out of range whenever I start the game and since it's doing that I cant get in to change it.... can anyboy help me?!?!?!?

You can reset the resolution by simply deleting the file prefs.ini from My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2 (doing that will reset all settings to their default state).
