Paging madpoet41

A couple of days back I was wandering through peoples blogs and I read (I think it was at jilluser's house) a comment that madpoet41 made about a poem he had written that he was reading at a poetry reading.
I was about a girl who had had an abortion and I thought I would very much like to read that but having read most of madpoet41's blogs I didn't see it there.

I wondered if he might please consider posting it here??

I don't know which one it was, but I miss seeing MadPoet around. I hope he isn't gone he had a brightness around him.

Hey~I'm still around. I just have been spending a lot more time on my own blogs, and leaving a comment or two here and there when I can. I actually want to start reading blogs by other folks that are somewhat new to me. A lot of new faces! And I'm still pretty new myself, huh? Been here almost a month now.

Anyway, thanks for the sweet remark about there being a brightness around me. That's actually what I am aiming for. I even said that in one of my recent blogs.

The poem you mention is around someplace? I will literally have to track it down. It's one of my older ones, and has never been collected in a book before. But I will search for it, and let you know when it is found, huh? In the meantime, there is an excellent poem about abortion by the great American poet Anne Sexton. I just love her work so much. The abortion poem of hers actually inspired me to write one of my own. So it is a really awesome poem. I think it might be called: "For An Unknown Girl In A Maternity Ward." Check it out in her collected poems if you can. It is truly beautiful and wise. Thanks again for the nice words of support. I am still haunting the halls here at JU. . And if I find my own poem, I'll post it on here for you then. Take good care...
