Crash/Freezing

I seem to be having some problems with random freezing, crashing to desktop, and/or rebooting.

I have updated drivers, checked my screen resolution, increased my page file, and lowered all of the ingame graphics settings to the minimum; this includes setting anti-aliasing to 0. What's next?

If your system is randomly rebooting, that would indicate that your problems (probably most of them) are being caused by driver issues or, more likely, hardware issues (overheating, dirty power, flaky memory, etc).

In most cases a sudden reboot occurs when Windows would normally generate a blue screen error, but is not set to actually show the error. You can check this by Right clicking My Computer->Properties->Advaned tab->Startup and Recovery settings->Uncheck 'Automatically restart' under System failure. Next time your computer would reboot, it should now give you an error screen. Write down the error and the addresses it specifies (the strings of numbers starting with 0x).

If Windows doesn't come up with a 'Your system has recovered from a serious error, would you like to send a report to Microsoft' dialog after coming back up (select Yes, then More Info when given the option--this will forward you to a page on Microsoft's site with whatever information they may have on the error), you can generally search google for the error and addresses and get an idea of what sort of hardware issue you're dealing with.
