Screen resolutions?

Just a quick question -- I know it's been stated that GalCiv supports resolutions "up to" 1024x768@32-bit (unlike some other recent 4X game(s) that shall remain unnamed here

). Does it go any higher than this?
ie 1152x864, 1280x1024?

the game is set at 1024x768 - there is no way of changing this.

You can however run the game in "windowed" mode, if your resolution is set to higher than this

and the windowed version is in 16 bit color
