Help - desktopx crashes everytime

I just started using DesktopX and for the first few minutes that I was playing around with it everything seemed to work fine. Then I guess I did something (don't know what) and it crashed. Now everytime I try to load a desktop or when my computer restarts I get the following error message:
"Desktopx does not appear to have exited correctly. This could be the fault of a corrupt desktop or a buggy plugin. Would you like to start with a new, empty desktop(yes) or attempt to load the current desktop again(no)
yes no"
If I choose yes, I get an error about desktop.exe encountering a problem and needs to close, send error report or dont send.
If I choose no, then it will load the desktop. For about 2 seconds everything will look as it should, then it will give me the same error, crash and also mess my computer up a bit (task bar will disappear).
I have tried restarting my computer and that didnt work. I have uninstalled, restart, reinstalled about 3-4 times so far. I even tried using 3.1 pro rather than the 3.2 shareware version but it still crashes.
