I saw there was a new Redskin theme but that's not my favorite team! I wonder if it possible to have a Carolina Panthers theme ?

yes, i was under the impression it was a NO-NO as all my NFL WMP Skins were removed a few years ago.

I'll bet they say it's a fan-art thing. Does that mean I can copy another's work, tweak it and upload it and say it's fan-art? NFL, NBA, NBL or the like should not be allowed. I should write a letter about these skins to the NFL.

Theres an important distinction to make here: mimic2003 is likely referring to the Suite created by Stardock Design specifically for Florida State University. It was a joint effort between FSU and Stardock Design to create a unique user experience for their fans. Permission was given throughout the entire process. In order to utilize the tradmarked and copyrighted logos and banners for the teams in the NFL, permission must be obtained, so to create such a theme as Mimic is requesting would certainly require communicating with many people to ensure that all proper permissions were given.
