Incorrectly reporting planets in solar system

Small bug

Happened with several stars but most were fine.

Edit: Ah I am a fool as I spend most of my time zoomed out I didn't notice that low class planets like class 2 look the same as class 0...

I was about to ask the same question, i would just leave it for an emeny to colonize so it will just be a drain on their resources, unless ofcourse i can be improved through the terreforming techs.

I was wondering about this too. I don't think I remember ever seeing anything below a class 4 in DL, maybe a 3 but there seems to be a lot of really low class planets in DA. I was wondering if it was by design to make the planet improvement techs more powerful, or if DA is just accidently generating that many sub 3 planets.

On another note I haven't seen any differences after researching the advanced version of a colonization tech. I though from the description in game(+50% colonization) that it would allow 50% more tiles, which would also offset all the really low PQs. After researching them though, No new tiles and no boosts of any kind I can tell(not in planet details atleast).

One last thing since I'm posting here might as well get it all out.   Currently there seems to be no way to tell foreign influence levels on asteroid mines until its in the process of rebelling, then it always says(to the right of the name) foreign influence is 9999.00. I realize that though may just be something that isn't full implemented yet.

another last thing(it really is this time  ) I saw it mentioned you can now leave orbit in any direction you want, but I have yet to find a way to do this.

Thanks for listening. Any help to my confusion above is greatly appreciated.

Yep, random planets of class 4 and below are back after their long absence since the GC2 beta. You do need to look carefully for them though since as you saw, they currently use the same icon as a class 0 (but even if you play zoomed out, the habitables count on the star will indicate there is one hiding there).

Class 4 and lower planets are cool when you play neutral. If you colonize one, you'll see that there are A LOT of tiles for terraforming. In fact, most of those planets when fully terraformed will be upwards of 12-15 by the time you are done....a lot of work, but nice.

Also just found out that when you choose neutral you don't immediately get all of the un terraformed tiles. You only get the tiles that you could have terraformed at your current tech level. Once you get the next tech you need (Habitation (sp?), Terraforming) then you get those tiles as well....nice way to clean that little bit of incongruity up SD....

Thanks for the great game!

The advanced colonization techs eliminate the production penalty (50%) the special worlds have with the first tech.

Indeed, it's a nice touch that there are a lot of low class planets, but they are actually useful now (assuming you research the terraforming techs).

I will however, miss not having the research the terraforming techs when I'm playing neutral

Haven't played enough yet to see this for myself, but kudos for the idea. (Also glad I wasn't spacing re the absence of class 1 & 2 worlds in core GCII.)

There is! select the mine and point your cursor at the rebellion symbol near the name. though this symbol may be only there if the mine is in enemy influence area.

Yea I need to append some of my earlier statements. I've gotten a little further in and found the influence levels working better on mines, though I still see the 9999.00 thing everynow and then. Just when there is really heavy foreign inf. Also, has anyone found out how to leave orbit in any direction? I'm sure I saw that mentioned as being a new feature. Thanks

I haven't figured out how to do it manually, but it looks like ships take "the smart way" when you have a rally point set for a planet.
