November Desktop Screenshots

With the weather here cooled off, I thought a wintery background might be just about right...

I've given up Object Dock Plus for Object Bar for the time being.
This my home system. Currently using eminence but that changes when the walls do (every couple hours)

I think people make up desktops to post in the screenshot section.  I was always under the impression that this monthly forum post was to post the screenshots you personally use.

 

O.K. I get it...
...my screenshot posts have been the result of putting together a look to my dt, thanks to all the artists/creators; if it blows my mind, I like to post it to showcase those artists.
I also browse the screenies occasionally to see what might go together with what I've found. Sometimes there's real gems I've somehow missed.

In the time I've been here I've only looked in there maybe a dozen times now.
This post has been up for as long as I can remember for members desktops, renewed monthly by Jafo (unless he's at the races)

The screenshot section is for professional/semipro screenshot artists.
There was a time when the same person(s) would post 4 or more desktops to the Screenshot Section a day. That doesn't exactly say "this is MY desktop"
I'm not trying to restart the old argument that it is or isn't "Skinning"
I just think this thread has kinda got lost since the forums were revamped.

That's a Konfabulator (Yahoo) Widget called RSS_Ticker_Tape

It works great and the Author keeps updating it often.

Guess it's time for me to try out Konfabulator and that widget. Put off using Konfabulator as I didn't want to cause conflict(s) with DX or Objects/Widgets. Will see if they play nice.

As far as I can tell there are no conflicts. I've been using both for quite some time.

Just checked out the Konfabulator forums. No mention of that question in the posts subject-lines, so very happy to check back here and find "no conflicts"! Been wanting to try out Konfab for some time.
I'm off to see what I can find.   

Seems to coexist with gef's DX "Moonlight" and a couple of other widgets from here just fine so far. Thanks again!
