WinCustomize Subscription Information

hello everyone!

forgive me for having to create a thread for this (as i cant find any FAQs for n00bs) but i just signed up as a Registered User (Level 2). folks like me has a limit for downloads (100 MBs only i think). i was wondering if that ever gets replenished and how often.

If you pay for a subscription to WinCustomize, purchase one [or all] of the many great Stardock applications, or contribute to the community [perhaps by way of regular uploads of your own work] your access level will be changed, and you will not have the download cap.

So you are saying even if I bought the object desktop 2007 and not wincustomize subscription I got a cap? I read on stardock.com that if anyone buys the new object desktop 2007 they will have unlimited downloads off of wincustomize for a year of object desktop 2007 subscription. Look like another thing that pulled me in.

Well I was wrong it is just updates only for object desktop. I guess when or ever I get this software to work I will have to back up everything because I will have a download limit. It will go quick to because I already downloaded stuff and can't use because of problem not solved yet and lost everything downloaded.

If you've purchased ObjectDesktop 2007, you should have unlimited downloads for skins applicable to those apps during the 12 month duration of your OD subscription. If WC is still saying you have a d/l cap you may need to go into your WC account settings and crossmatch your Stardock account and WC membership with the email addy used to order your Stardock Products.
