3 questions for WB 5.1

I have WindowBlinds 5.1 and I have a few questions.
In settings, I disabled the ability for skins to apply their backgrounds, but no matter what they all pick a COLOR for my background, and its really annoying. How do I disable that?

Also I have Miranda IM and it puts a border around the contact list, I dont want that either but I still want it to skin the program. How do I get rid of the border?

And how do I change the COLOR of the skins? I dont see an option for that.

background color is part of skin color theme.

in basic setting - enhanced - try unchecking apply skins color theme


I get rid of the border?

try adding to per exclusion to only skin title bar



And how do I change the COLOR of the skins? I dont see an option for that.


try clicking 'change skin color' in the skins preview window

open WB configuration - click 'per application' on the left - click 'add' - browse to Miranda's exe - once added, the options window comes up

I dont think I have skin studio....I never used to have this problem ever, until I got WB 5.1 today...

Can someone pleaseeeeee help me?
Everytime I change the color of the background to what I want, when I choose a diffrient skin or restart my computer it changes it back to that skins "chosen color" or whatever. I went into settings and unchecked "apply skins color theme" and it didnt work. I didnt have this problem until I got WB 5.1, it never did it with 4.4 Does ANYONE know how to fix this problem? Getting Skin Studio cant be the only way.

Such Language!

Skin Studio is the program most people use to "Create" skins. It's also useful to modify other people's skins to your liking, as Bichur suggested. It's not a "Fix It" program.

it's not the ONLY way. Here's a suggestion.....create a Wallpaper that just the background color you want and apply it. Then in the Windowblinds configuration panel uncheck the "Apply any wallpaper supplied" item on the Basic Settings Tab

But here is the problem, I have a wallpaper I want. But in properties I set the position to "Center", so its not all huge and distorted on the screen, then for the background color I choose "black", and WB keeps changing that color.

create a blank wall the color you want - then center the pic you want to use on top of that, save it and use it as the wall.

Too much workkkkkkk lol I dont want to do that everytime I want to change my background. Also, I thought that thing I tried with Miranda IM worked, it didnt. I did that per application thing and told it not to skin miranda at all, and it skins it anyways, this is getting really annoying.

I've not used the trial so It's possible it's not as "configurable" as the full version. (I assume your using the trial since you don't show as a current customer or subscriber)

I'm not aware of any change you can make that would be automatic each time you restart. So either your gonna have to do some work or suffer with the skins colors.
