A Note for a Skin...

Note: I have an unfinished skin called Class. I begun making it last year and never got to finish it. It's supposed to be a unique design, pretty hard to be completed, yet quite original. I provide a screeshot of the parts completed up to now below. Is anyone interested to finish it off for the competition? If you decide to finish it off please contact me at: [email protected] in order to provide you with all the necessary files (.psd, .png and .wba files).

I'm sorry, but you can't take someone else's work even in part, complete it and submit it to the competition.  All work must be 100% by the submitting author.

a. So co-op is out of the question?
b. If i licence the author with full rights does it count? (I'd just like to see it complete, don't need to take credit for it).

It's always been in the rules.  From point two on the rules list for entries:

"You may not obtain permission from other artists to incorporate their work into your own submission. Everything submitted, every element must be entirely the creation of the submitter."  (emphasis added)

The reason is that you're all competing as individuals in these events, teams are more of a "for fun" thing with the possibility of winning some extra prizes at the end.  You can work together in that one person may make an icon set, another a matching WB, and another a matching wallpaper etc...

All right then...i'll withdraw this offer then. Thank you Zoomba and SKoriginals for the in-depth info.

PS: Can you delete the post? Or close it?
