MediaMonkey Problem

Multiple Icons in the System Tray

Whenever I load MediaMonkey I see four icons in the OD system tray instead of one. MediaMonkey support said that the problem is with ObjectDock. Has anyone run across this?

when you have the 4 icons showing, is it running 4 times in processes (task manager)?

try saving your theme - unload OD - clear the cache - reload, reapply theme

I've downloaded the program to check it out. Sure enough, 4 icons appear in the ObjectDock systray. Open the Options dialog, and 3 more appear.
But.... In Options > Appearance > Skin, I selected "Override Skin theme with Window System theme", and restarted MediaMonkey. Only 1 icon appears in the systray dock now.
So, the extra icons must have something to do with the skinning engine in MM.

Hey I have the same problem, the only way I could find to stop it was to override skin theme as mentioned above, its really annoying, I love mediamonkey and objectdock so much but mediamonkey looks so washed-up without skins!

Media monkey works fine with the normal windows taskbar, there must be a way to make it work with objectdock? Can the programmers come up with something for us? I need my sleek monkey!

I had this problem some time ago but no more. Never did find out why. I thought MM fixed it in a update. Do you have the latest version? My settings are:
1. Always show tray icon.
2. Minimize to tray.
3. Close to tray.
4. Enable mouse gestures for tray icon.

Running XP sp2
Paid version OjectDock Plus
Paid version MediaMonkey Gold 2.5.5.992
I use just about any skin but usually run minimized with "CD Art Display" up.

Has this problem been solved yet?

MediaMonkey 3 has been released and I'm having the same problem only with 6 icons instead of 4. Overriding the skin theme with window system theme does work, however that's not really a solution since MM looks awful that way.
