Registration code issues - once again

I'm currently trying to re-install Galciv2 on my PC after a reformat (new harddrive) and I'm having issues getting the registration code working.
Now, I've played before so I know the code is legitimate.
I'm using the European Collectors Edition so I don't have the registration code in the box, but the collectors edition code. This I used when I first registered and got a nice, functional registration code. Now, the code no longer works.
When I try to use it to register (and run) the game, all I get is that the code is wrong. Which would be quite fine, if I didn't use copy-paste from an e-mail. So, the registration code no longer works.
When I try to use the collectors edition code to get a new key, I just get a "This key has already been registered by another e-mail". Which is quite amusing since I'm using the same e-mail I used back when I first got a key.
Now, here comes the funny part. When I try to use the Stardock e-mail thing to have it re-send my account/game data to my e-mail, the game isn't listed. Nothing is.
So, the game is registered to the e-mail address, but stardock hasn't registered the game with the e-mail address. I can't get a new one and the old one doesn't work for some unfathomable reason.
Í'm not using another account here (since I only ever created one).
Any other data you need and if not, HOW THE HELL DO I (or stardock) FIX THIS?!?!?
