No text on buttons

If you did the install through Stardock Central you might be better off downloading the complete 1.31 file from the Downloads section, and installing it from your hard drive.

I had this once with one of the earlier updates - reboot of pc fixed it.

I uninstalled and reinstalled, now it works fine. Strange.

I too also had this problem as well, right after installation (download). Rebooting my PC fixed it. I panicked when I first saw it. I came here to this forum and saw all these bugs reported and started drafting up a refund demand. Which, by the way, I don't think could ever happen. In this world, you have to bend over and take it.

That's what Jesus and Bhudda taught. Bend over and take it. In the rear. Constantly. Because if you don't, you'll be mad all the time. You can either be gay or mad. There is no inbetween. Anyway. I rebooted and it was fixed and I stopped writing my nasty letter to stardock. I still wonder if Stardock cares about making its customers happy. There are still many bugs to fix. Some of these bugs decrease gameplay enjoyability. Like, for example, not having minor races. I wonder when they'll fix that, and how hard it could possibly be.

The number of minors present in a game depends on map size but is still entirely random. It is completely possible to end up with no minors at all, though some will usually appear over time.
