Your computer probably doesn't support per-pixel alpha blending. That or you're running the trial version and the skin you have isn't included in the demo skins.

Open WindowBlind Configuration and select "System Information", copy that section and post it here to make sure.

Is anybody using windows blinds 5 and aol? If so notice how aol's internal web browser always appears in a weird spot and you always have to drag the window to resize it. This does not happen with windows blinds v4.2 and only 4.2. Does anybody know what I'm talking about and know how to fix this? thanks in advance

DizzYBuT: It would be wise if you created your own seperate post under the WindowBlind section. This way your question will be given the attention needed. It also prevents a hijacking of this post.

The latest build on Stardock Central has an experimental workaround that allows PPS in a limited enviroment.

You are either not using WindowBlinds 5.x or just using a trial version or your computer hardware, specifically your video card doesn't support per pixel borders.

AOL doesn't like to play with WB. What I have done, is have WB not skin the titlebar in aol only. To do this, go to the Per Application section in the WB Config window. Click on the link on the bottom to add application. Scroll to the aol executable, select that (aol.exe), then you will have options on what not to skin....as I said, I just checked don't skin the titlebar.
