Odd graphics

This is how the first most basic ship (demo version) looks like for me, now when i look at screenshots on https://www.galciv2.com/ - all the ships are a lot more detailed than that. I'm using Gforce FX 5200 graphics card.


I reinstalled my video drivers (Release date: 2006 1st of September)
But that didn't help any


Any ideas?

maybe you should turn your anti-aliasing, that should make your ships more detailed, but it may take more time to load the game, and the game movement in space,

but I'm not sure, so I won't post wrong info, so you better ask someone else

make sure your "Disable ship textures" is not checked in the options menu. That is what they looked like when i was playing with that setting once.Other than that IDK.

There should be a file named debug.err in the directory you installed the demo at. If you copy and paste the entire contents of that file into a post here (or at least the hardware information and beginning of the debug messages below it), it will give us some information to help troubleshoot your problem.
