| oh yeah, can you also show me how to apply a skin for an icon? i opened it with icondeveloper, but then i don't know how to save it as the skin for that particular icon or whatever |
You don't use IconDeveloper for that. If you want to change only a single icon, then right-click > click Properties > then Select the Icon Tab > Now select the 'Change Icon' button > click the browse button > find the
.ico file and select it. Ok to everything. Voila!
Now since you have IconDeveloper I'm betting you're a ODNT subscriber, so if you want to change all your Icons (i.e. the Windows system icons) you'll have to use the proggy called IconPackager. This changes all at once. If you only want to change one, then follow the original directions.
Note:IconDeveloper is really only for converting png's to icons or for recoloring and editing of icons.
Oh yeah, if you are already using an IconPackage and would like to change the icon globally then you may do so through IconPackager. I'm not going to explain that now, since I don't know whether you are using this. Catch me later.
