It should support all the features needed for the game, but being a low-end integrated chipset your performance will likely be poor.

Well thanks for the advice. No one else really seemed to know. Since my little bubble is now burst, I thought I had a decent machine since it was recently purchased, could you be a little more specific? Would this graphics set up cause the game to crash? I don't really have any video performance issues, especially after turning off the anti aliasing (btw, what is it?), so what performance would you be referring to in regards to being poor? And I'm not trying to be smart about it or redundant, just attempting to get a grip on some gaming issues although at least I haven't had any crashes since starting a new game after the latest download.

AA- in a nut shell is smoothening out edges and making things look less pixelated. Unfortuanatly its a very taxing procedure.

Recenelty purchased doesnt have much to do with anyhting the LE line is a low end gpu and thats why it costs less then lets say the 7900.

What you would get less of is framerates, you would have to have lower res, and lower details.

I am currently on a buisness trip so all i have is my laptop. Its has a low and mobility readon but what i find is just switching to tactical view is good enough. You dont get the rich detail of the game but you still get to play it. So if you start loosing frames due to your le heating up just zoom out for awhile.

Even if you have a very new computer, you are still running a integrated gpu, which by nature just doenst have the horse power that an independent GPU (aka video card) would give. This is an admittedly simplistic explaination, how familiar are you with the inards of your computer? Not knowning isnt a big deal, it just effects how in depth we (the unwashed) can explain things

Well i will get in these couse it maters to me, have gf3, what hapens is that when i get to the point to have sensors ship with 10+ and i can see moust of the ai's ships it gets realy slow well not much but u can feel things slowing down. Zoom it in mustly helps couse i get to see in screen less stuff. The point is, is it better to zoom in or out for performance?
i know i dont know s.... about these things jhehehehe

I know some of the innards of my computer, mostly self taught though. I've installed other graphics cards so the process is pretty simple to me. I don't know if I have PCI or AGP capability however, but a quick look will tell. My main problem was figuring out what all the specs meant on graphics cards since I want a good one but don't want to spend 300 to 500 plus on one since I just bought the computer. Thanks to all for the advice.
