It will for me. I'm mostly into Linux. Besides XP works just fine. Why bother spending money to upgrade when I've got an OS that works just fine? I don't need all the new bells and whistles.

USAToday reported that Vista pre-orders are available on Amazon. The pricing list is included there in US $. WWW Link

Looks like Vista Ultimate may be a bit pricey
