game crashes after loading

from GalCiv2 Forums
everytime i go to play a new game or a campaign the game crashes i will post my debug.err so someone can tell me what i need to do so that the game wont crash on me okay thank you

Several problems pop out.

1. Very old video and audio drivers. Update them.

2. Game resolution (1152x864) is set higher than your desktop resolution (1024x768). That's a big no-no. Match the game res with the desktop res.

3. You are still on version 1.0 of GalCiv2. Update to version 1.2.

That's not really important, whats important is that he has 32bit and not 16, and thats OK. His Monitor can support up to 1600x1200.

Why do I say this?? Cuz My monitor Desktop resolution is at 1280x1024, and I can play the game at 1600x1200 no problem even if it is larger than the desktop resolution.
