GalCiv II: Download

Not really a bug but...


I just bought the download version of the game. I am currently deployed military, and use an internet 'cafe' for web access. It had been my intent to download the game to my flash drive and use e-mail activation to play. I am unable (not admin) to install stardock on the public machines, however. Is there a way for me to download the game without using stardock?

Sorry, but no. If you contact [email protected] though you can probably have a disc shipped to your APO/FPO address for only the cost of shipping (since you already 'own' the game itself). Once you've got the game that way, you can download the latest patch and activate via email (or not--the retail disc version of the game does not require any activation in its unpatched state).

Thanks for the quick response. I'll see what I can do about getting a physical copy of it or just waiting until I'm somewhere I can download it.

Since you're in the military, make sure you tell them that you're deployed in the military and they should ship you the CD for free (tell them Brad said this would be the case).
