Is That What I Think It Is?

A couple of days ago as I was riding through Kentucky, something caught my eye up ahead and on the side of the highway. I had to do a double take because I didn't believe I was really seeing what I thought I was seeing.

Sure enough, there was a camel, large as life, walking along the fence line beside the interstate. And what was even more odd was the fact that there was a donkey following it.

Now that's something you just don't see every day.

Least the camel has company even if it is an eeeawww. There is nothing worse than seeing an animal in a field without company of any kind.

Strange friends though!

You always get me with the titles Mason!

Here I was thinking you passed a little roadside hanky panky, and were going to be about ALL the details.

Oh well, I guess a camel is just as good.

Not.

Yeah, I thought it made for an odd pair. They were wandering alongside the highway so I figured they must have escaped from the same pasture.

that must have been worth more than a cuppa Starbucks coffee!

If you ever got up around these here parts,  there's a farm where people raise not only llamas and emus, they have caribu, elk, camels,  and more.  It's a private home,  and business so it's not like a petting farm or anything like that.  Keeps the tourists busy!

Just so you're not seeing pink elephants!

No pictures?

Haha, a while back we drove past a guy leading a donkey around on the side of the road here in Hawaii.

It was awesome. I got to yell out, "Look at that jackass!"

So now you are making your deliveries to Iraq and Afghanistan? Yet more proof that the military is properly resupplying

Seriously, a Camel?! Definitely not something you'd see that often here in the good ol' U.S.A.

Yeah, camels aren't exactly an every day sight, but I do see one out in some field here and there.

Usually the Camels have the Asses on their backs, not trailing them.
