find a planet

is there a way to find a planet? f.i.like pressing a key gives you the possibility to type a planets name and than it shows the planet on the map?

Finding a planet in gigantic maps prior to v1.2 was a real pain! In v1.2, when you leave the planet window, it moves you to the planet on the map. There are various ways to get to a planet's window:
(1) if it appears in the CNN news, select it and click the GOTO button
(2) go to the ships/planets list (first button on the main window) and click on the planet
(3) go to the colonies tab (from the second last button on the main window) and click on the planet

it woudl be nice to be able to search uncolonized planets too. I find it difficult when I see a 26 grade planet on the map, and then I can't find it later when my colony ships are ready. I zoom out and look at the symbols on the planets.

During the colonization phase the explored part of the galaxy is only a small fraction of the map if you are playing against many other races. However, if you go to the ships/planets list (first button on the main window), click on the planets tab, and then on the ALL tab, does it show up then or only all colonized planets?

Even better, you can click on the 'Unowned' tab, then if you sort by class, all the juiciest uncolonised planets will float to the top.
