Massively irritating - renaming ships/starbasses

This sounds small but is actually massively irritating - I can't rename anything. I open the dialogue box and the cursor simply doesn't work - arrows, delete, typing new text - nothing. If I click with the mouse it simply moves the cursor to the first letter and then does nothing.

Complete pain when all your new design are simply 'new design' and you have hundreds of starbases with a number and no real way of identifying what fleet is what etc.

Any help (already working off 1.3 btw)

Please post the contents of your debug.err file, which can be found in C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2.

once the cursor is blinking in front of the default name, hit delete(not backspace) to remove the old name. try that.

I can usually rename but not edit a name. I would like to be able to edit the name since I name my starbases with there mining amount, type and or econ level so I can tell on the mini-map if I need to send a constructor to it for upgrade

SnowDuck, what language is your keyboard set to use? Also, is this with 1.30.20?
