OD on Server2003

Windows Blinds is supposed to be compatible with Windows Server 2003, which is why I dropped $50 on it, but I see no skinning of my taskbar, only color changes which I could have done without Windows Blinds. If anyone has some advice, please, I am all ears, as it is I am thinking the alleged support for Server2003 was a farce and I will be demanding a refund if this is true.

Well without using Server2003 extensively, there is only one thing I could suggest. Now one would assume that Windowblinds wouldn't need this, but you could try turning on the Themes service. XP has this on by default so most people won't think of touching it, but in 2003 it's turned off by default.
Yes I know in theory Windowblinds shouldn't need it, but it's worth a shot. It'll just take a minute to try it anyway and see if it works.

I had issues with certain skins not working properly but for the most part it was fine for me. I'm running Win2K3 SP1 Standard on a Dual Core A64 processor, ATI 1900XT card and a NForce 4 SLI ULTRA motherboard. My consistent issue which prompted me to uninstall Windows Blinds was the program crashing and locking up the system whenever I tried to switch skins. I would have to switch, let it crash and then reboot to see the skin applied. I never bothered posting about it because I never saw any documentation that stated Win2K3 was fully supported. I do wish the Explorer toolbars were skinned. Oh well. I'm going to install the latest beta and see if the situation improves.
