Not making it to the install promp

I just bought the GC2 Dread lords and everytime I try to run the game to install it I get a system error so I was able to install it through the my computer by exploring the disk and running the setup but when I try to play the game I still get the Same error

There should be a debug.err file in your main program folder, usually C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2.

Just open the file with Notepad, select all, copy and paste into the reply post.

The info in that file may point to the problem.
