Delay in the end of the turn

So after I built Galactic Privateer my freighter should be protected from being attacked, but when I am at war with other races, as usual they will still try to attack my freighter and this caused a long wait or delay in the end of the turn. Is this a bug or I have to endure that stupid long wait?

They first version did come out. We're waiting for the second now, as the first one had pretty much a game ending memory error. Hopefully in the next couple of days.
