Cant install?

When I try to install the game it will freeze every time?
Just says not responding when I Ctrl Alt Delete.
Should I go get a new copy??

Some of the discs in certain shipments have errors on them. You can try returning it to the store, but you may just as well get another one from the same batch (and thus with the same problem).

If you have a good internet connection, the easiest thing for you to do is simply register your serial number and download the entire game through Stardock Central (at which point you can burn your own backup install discs from the dwonloaded copy).

thanks for the fast reply......I could go get a new copy but if you are right about the bad shipments....ummmm ill try the download options.

So I did bring the game back, got my $ back and went to a dif store and did buy a new copy....bring it home, and once again will not install.....aaahhhhhhhh! lol
So how do I register my serial number and download the entire game through Stardock Central?
I see where I can download the game but it wants me to pay again?

Get SDC from here: http://storage.stardock.com/files/sdcentral_setup.exe

After you've installed it, go to Tools>Register Product. Pick the Games section on the left, pick GC2 from the menu, and give it your serial and the email address for your forum account. Get out of that dialog and on the main SDC screen, go to the Games section and you should see GC2 under the Purchased Products heading. Select it and click install.
