Fleet icons in V 1.3B

All ship icons in fleets turn black

When I am playing A game of galactic civ 2 now that I patched to version 1.3b the ship icons seem to be bugged .
when I am dealing with single ships I see their icons on the starport window but once I group those ships into A fleet the icon turns into A black square and I cant tell what is in the fleet unless i go into manage fleet screen . Anyone else encounter this or know how to fix this?

Mine game (1.3beta) is doing the same. And now it is crashing on saves (runs out of memory.....)

I know it's a beta release, but geez...... Maybe future ones should come with a stronger warning, like: don't ever trust a stardock beta release.

Hmmm, Glad I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. I do kinda miss the fleet icon.

Fortunatly (touhc appropriate luck totem) I haven't suferred at the hands of the 'memory error' problem as of yet. However there is a first time for everything, and I probably don't play as much Gal Civ2 as some people on here.

Only other bug to report, was the scrolling getting stuck - pulling to the left, a reboot of the game sorted that one out, so as to whether it was the game or my system who knows.

Anyway will be looking for the non-beta patch, I guess with an early release we kinda do the playtesting and problem reporting for them, which is smart when u think about it

Most likely after Mr Frog has had his 3rd child (or rather his partner has had his 3rd child for him...)
