Won't minimize to the task bar correctly

I installed a skin recently but I didn't like it too much, now when I minimize a window it goes to the task bar next to my clock (right side) instead of the normal place (left side near start button). How can I fix this????

Do you still have WindowBlinds running?

If so, it sounds like one of two possibilities:

1 - The option "Make minimize button minimize to tray" under "WindowBlinds configuration panel\User Overrides\Advanced Settings section" has been enabled.

2 - The previous skin had this option scripted into the skin and the function is still holding on.

To fix #1, just deselect and click "Apply Changes".

To fix #2, unload WindowBlinds > restore the XP default theme via "Display Properties\Themes tab\Theme drop-down list > reboot computer > start WindowBlinds and apply a skin you like.

Hopefully, that should sort it.
