The forum refresh, that first came to the main Stardock and Galactic Civilizations 2 forums has made its way to WinCustomize.com today.  After a great deal of feedback from users, the forums now more closely resemble other web forums in style and function. 

We also hope that these new forums will alleviate some of the technical issues users had been experiencing in the past.  If you have any comments/feedback on the new forums, please leave them in a comment here.

Edit....I've noticed with Opera that screenshots turn into little tiny blue squares after flashing on the screen. Just letting you know.

I've been having a 'ferret' around for the last few minutes, looks ok so far.

I have difficulty sorting which are recent posts though. The time stamp is incorrect for 90% of the world  ;)  It would be better to have 'minutes ago' instead of current Stardock time.

I wonder if this has solved that %#"%% annoying IE freeze every time a forum page refrehed - so far, it apparently has.

I tried to edit reply #2 a second time to metion that smilies are showing as blue boxes as well and it kept telling me Access Denied cause I needed to log in.

You may need to logout from WC and relogin to clear cookie issues. I've had to do that myself across a bunch of the sites as the forums rolled out.

One issue, Zoomba: links in posts (which previously showed up as Link) now appear in plain text and are no longer clickable.

wow, i go out for a little swim, take a few photos of a turtle, come back here, and everythings changed....

I love the bold text for threads that have new replys. Just one more observation that makes the new site easier to use!!

Great new look for the forums; I love the crisp and clean look that it has. One question though, will the WinCustomize Browser get the same look and feel any time in the ‘near’ future or is it just for the web browsers for now? Please don’t take this the wrong way, I know the amount of work that it takes to make these transitions happen,. Keep up the great work guys!
