Is it possible

revert to previous skin

Hi All

fully paid up object desktop installation, with a frightening 200 themes in my WindowBlinds floder....

Needless to say I download a good number of themes, I have a few favourites, but like to look at an installed version of what I see on WinCustomize.

Could there be a function in WindowBlinds to "revert to previous theme"..?

I ofen install a new theme, to view it, and then want to go back to the theme I had been using. However it is not unusual for me to have forgotten the name of the previous theme, and then have to spend time searching through all 200 themes to find the right one..(I use themes by colour, to match wallpaper etc, so don't specifically look at what they are called)

So could there be an undo or revert to previous theme option in future up-grades?

I'm sure others will post support of this idea...assuming I'm not the only one in this situation...if I am?...well I don't expect a modification "just for me"..lol

Cheers

Must confess to having posted this message in Stardock support forum as well...but though I'd go for support here too....

Your idea is great. However, I don't believe that's an option right now. So since you have OD, just follow the link below to download a Note Widget. Write down the name of your skin on this note widget, then when you want to revert back, open WB config. window>select advanced>then select find>then type the name...and voila! Not exactly the answer you were probably looking for, but it works.

If that's too much trouble, you could always note the name of the skin that's showing when you open configure.
I've always found it to be on the skin I'm using at the time.

Heh heh, I've been here. Taking note of what is showing when you open the config window is a good way, but many times I apply a new skin without ever opening the config.

I launch the .wba file right from my download manager, and WB pops up a notice over SysTray when it has been "installed". I can click on that notice and it will apply the skin without me ever seeing the config window (which can be dangerous, because it keeps any recolor settings you have applied to current blind).

I would probably find a "revert to previous" function helpful, I think it is a great suggestion. It would be handy even when one does remember the last skin's name.
