HELP: Firefox - search bar, button issues due to Windowblinds

I installed a Vista-like style which looks great -- but takes over my other applications. Whenever I run something with a search bar or box in which to enter text the theme takes over and makes it dark, intead of preserving the original look of the page. In the case of searches and e-mail this becomes a real pain, as half of the time the text from the page window remains black while the box itself turns dark gray -- makign it difficult to read. Is there any way to override windowblinds' effect on Firefox or preserve the original page look either from within firefox or from Windowblinds?

I just want the theme effect applied to the Firefox browser, not to the pages I look up -- is there any way to remedy this, apart from completely getting rid of the theme?

As far as I know every browser uses Windows' colors on web pages. It's not a WindowBlinds feature, it's a windows feature. If you use Classic Windows uncustomized by any programs and change the color of the text entry areas you get the same effect. On any browser so far as I know.

If you have SkinStudio installed, you are able to change the background window color. This will accomplish what you want, but it will also change all other background windows to that specific color you choose. Here is what you do, Open the skin in SkinStudio via WB config. or through SkinStudio. When the skin is opened, click on the Explorer tab in the Control Selection Panel, on the left most part of the window. There you will see the Skin tree, click on Miscellaneous>Colors. Once you have clicked colors, go to the right most part of the window, the Parameters Panel and open the "Window" Attribute. Under the Window attribute, there are two Background options, you want to change the "Background-Window" option, NOT the "Background-MDI Window" option. I would suggest changing the color to white. After this, File>Save AS>"name">ok. This will save a separte WB in case you would like to delete it later. Goodluck

Expanding on KiloKrash's plan...

If you would like to keep your Windows colors for everything except FireFox: use the Per Application settings in WindowBlinds. Add New Per Application Setting for Firefox and tell it to use your newly created modified skin, while using the original skin globally.

You might also want to check the "This exclusion is not inherited by any apps launched by this app" check box, when set the per application settings.
