windowsblinds5 wants me to restart my computer again and again

windowsblinds5 wants me to restart my computer again and again.it says 'you have to disable your anti-spyware'.i tried it but it didnt work.what should i do

What you are going to have to do is uninstall WB's 5 [make sure you use a program like CCleaner to clean the registry also]Then you must diable your anti-virus and anti-spyware programs and then reinstall WB-5 with them diabled.What is happening is those programs are not letting WB-5 install correctly ,Hence the the error.There are 2 or 3 AV and ASPY programs that cause this i just cant remember there names at the moment. yes avast is one of them you also need to diable anything else you have [ie.Windows Defender a spyware program]

For the record . . you can re-enable the AV after teh reboot.

I wonder if it's possible to check the Windows registry as part of the install process to see if Avast is (or any other known issue causing AV are) installed and throw up an alert?

Yeah, I would like to know too. I'm having the same problem. I have the freedom anti-virus and anti-spyware software thought. I uninstalled it and shut it down then reinstalled and even with it shut down it was still giving me the same message. Any help would be grateful.

I use Avast and it didn't bother my install of either WB 4.6 or 5.0.......Never had Avast bother any Stardock app installation or use.........I also use Windows Defender, never had a problem.........
