Object dock:New Seperator

How on earth do i remove these from a dock? i created a nice dock, added like 5 seperators to move my weather icon to the right side of the dock, then when i added another icon i got the little arrow that appears when you have to much on a dock, so i moved the weather icon back over (because its just seperators pushing it onto the next screen) but arrows still there cause the seperators still there...

i looked everywhere to try and figure out how to remove em, just gives me option to add em when right click... anyone know what i need to do?

grab the separator with your mouse, drag it way off the dock and let go.

Depending upon how many separators you have on the dock, you can also right-click to the right of a separator [not on an icon] and you should see a menu item saying "remove this separator". I went to the far-right end of the dock and did this 

I just created a new dock to try to solve your problem, and added 2 extra separators to it ... I then tried to remove them. I was able to remove two of them in the manner described above. The third one did not/would not remove, as it is there by default when you "create new dock". You can change to a new background though, and choose one without a separator.

i think that might be my problem, i have a background that doesnt show the seperators, so i cant click on it to grab it and drag off the dock, ill have to change the bacground then drag it off and change it back, thanks, thought i was going nuts.

Errr ...not sure that will work Peter, as I believe that the background you're trying to change is one that has a non-removable separator. [ie ..it's part of the graphic's of the default dock that loads when you hit the "create new dock" button].

If you want no separators at all, you need to choose a dock background that doesn't have any.
